The diary you are being asked to create should be undertaken between the 20th June 2023 and the 3rd July 2023. This period includes the 4 days prior to the commencement of the festival and the 3 days after the end of the festival. This period has been chosen in order to record your preparations, journey, and emotions leading up to Roskilde 2023, your memorable moments of festival experience itself, and your emotions and reflections when leaving the festival site. You are required to submit not less than five short written messages and/or photographs and/or voice recordings per day for the fifteen 15 day period. Poetry, sketches, doodles, maps and soundscapes are also welcome. There is no upper limit on the amount of messages and/or photographs and/or voice recordings you can submit during the fifteen 15 day period. Submissions should be sent via the dedicated, encrypted WhatsApp portal supplied. In order for this data to accurately reflect the actual ‘real life’ experiences and emotions of a Generation Z festival-goer, it’s essential to clarify that all data submitted will be treated in the strictest confidence and the events and emotions recorded will be considered outside of any jurisdiction, legal or otherwise (save for loss of life or personal injury).
